What the problem was:Ideal Classic Combi-Boiler breakdown. Client reported that it wouldn’t fire up and that the same problem had occurred the week before but rectified itself until today. What the problem was:This customer called in as he had no hot water and the radiators were coming on when they shouldn’t be.
What we provided:
On booking our pricing options were discussed with the customer, and he decided that our YourCare plan, which provides cover for the customers boiler, central heating system and controls, along with a fixed price one-off repair, would be the best option for him. An engineer was then dispatched to his property in Uttoxeter at a time and date which was best suited to the customers work commitments.
30 minutes prior to arrival the customer was given a courtesy call by the Gas Safe engineer to advise on his arrival time. On arrival the fault with the boiler was diagnosed using the engineers multimeter as a faulty hot water thermistor, as we had this particular part in stock, the repair was carried out there and then.
